Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you send us. It is short because we collect very little.

Who we are

Person responsible for privacy

Quebec law requires us to name a person responsible for protecting personal information. Requests about your information — access, correction, deletion, or withdrawing consent — should be sent to rowena@rosdough.com and will reach the person responsible directly.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site, which may include:

• your name, and your company name if you give one;
• your email address and, if you provide it, your phone number;
• the details of your enquiry — quantity, date, flavours, pickup or delivery, allergies, and any notes you add;
• whether you ticked the box asking to hear about seasonal menus.

We do not ask for payment details on this website and there is no way to enter them here.

What we do not collect

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party tracking scripts. There is no advertising pixel, no social media embed, and no session tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we do not know you visited unless you write to us.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use what you send solely to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and fulfil an order you place. Your enquiry goes to our inbox and Ro replies to it herself — there is no automated system reading it or deciding anything about it.

If you ticked the marketing box, we may also send occasional emails about seasonal menus. You can stop those at any time by replying and saying so, or with the unsubscribe link once those emails carry one.

Order and invoice records are kept for six years, which is the period Canadian tax law requires business records be retained, and then deleted. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted withintwelve months.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that passes the message on. Our email is hosted by our email provider. Beyond those, we do not share, sell, rent or trade your information with anyone.

These providers may process or store information outside Quebec, including in the United States, where different privacy laws apply.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write torowena@rosdough.com and we will respond within 30 days, which is the period Quebec law allows.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the page.
